Because trusting Big Tech is a good way to get silenced
We’re still on YouTube. That hasn’t changed. It’s where most of you found us, and we’ll keep posting there as long as it works.
But let’s be honest, lately the game’s been changing. Views go down, reach gets choked, and videos disappear from recommendations for no clear reason. It’s not because the content is worse. It’s because it doesn’t fit what the algorithm wants. And let’s face it, loud, raw, southern truth isn’t what they want on the front page.
What happened with Apple?
Apple didn’t wipe us out completely, but they did block us from releasing new albums. No explanation. No warning. Just quietly pulled the plug on future releases.
Maybe it was the lyrics. Maybe the artwork. Maybe just the fact that we don’t package things in soft language. We don’t know, and honestly, we don’t expect a straight answer. But it was a wake-up call.
We can’t rely on platforms that get nervous when the truth doesn’t rhyme with their brand values.
Why we’re now on Odysee
Odysee is a decentralized video platform. That means it’s not controlled by a single company, not governed by some fragile content policy that changes with the wind, and not driven by ad dollars tied to silence. It’s built for people who say things the way they mean them, not the way they’re told to.
We didn’t move there out of fear. We set up shop there because it’s smart to have a place where you can’t be erased. If the system ever pulls the plug on us somewhere else, you’ll still find us standing, guitars plugged in.
We’re not leaving. We’re just not stupid.
This isn’t goodbye to YouTube or anywhere else. This is just what it looks like when people take responsibility for their own survival

And if the lights ever go out, you’ll know where we went.
